Bill Edwards regularly performs Ragtime and Jazz at Festivals and all manner of shows across the US and Canada. He is often available at non-festival times with a bit of advance booking, is easy to work with provides some of the publicity material AND publicity, and has many top-notch references.

Bill can be available for the following types of events or a combination thereof both in the US and abroad:

  • Festival appearances and seminars
  • Ragtime Concerts in Auditoriums or Town Hall Venues
  • Private Parties and Home Concerts
  • Industrials Such as Company Parties Complete With Tailored Content
  • Educational Institutions from Elementary to University
  • Television/Radio Appearances
  • Film Scores in a Variety of Genres, As Well As Performances
  • Silent Film Accompaniments

Shows and Seminars can also be tailored, if desired, to some of the following:

  • Ragtime Composers
  • Ragtime Styles
  • Classical Music in Ragtime
  • Early Traditional and non-Traditional Jazz
  • Ragtime and the Begining of the Music Industry as an Industry
  • Sheet Music Cover Artists and Art
  • Sheet Music Collection and Preservation
  • Honky-Tonk Piano of the 1950s
  • Giving Musical Voice to Silent Films

Stage shows include a variety of elements including some audience participation, multiple styles of ragtime piano rags and songs, the occasional classical or pop interlude, comedy and family-friendly humor, silent film shorts if a screen is available, and a satisfied and happy audience at the end of the performance. Needs are also minimal. A piano and/or sound can be provided in certain situations for extra, but otherwise just a piano (or two), sound, screen for A/V elements and Films, and an audience.

Seminars and Workshops can be incorporated into personal appearances which can also include visits to schools relating the importance of ragtime as the first truly American Music evolved into the musical styles heard today. Needs for those are also minimal, as above. References from those who have seen presentations are readily avilable.

As an Added Bonus, you can also get an evening of two piano action when Marty Mincer joins forces with Bill and they become The All American Ragtime Boys. A drummer and tuba player can also be added for an even more exciting show, if that seems possible.
